Over eighty five years ago, while Paul H. Young was building a reputation for custom made bamboo fly rods, his brother-in-law Al Hilde was forming a reputation of his own at his taxidermy shop located on Grand River Avenue in Detroit.

Years later Hilde Taxidermy moved to Clarkston, Michigan and in 1971 Bob Taylor joined the growing staff. Over the years Bob enhanced the quality of wildlife art that Hilde Taxidermy is now famous for.

Today Hilde Wildlife Studio is known worldwide as a specialist in their craft and are revered for there knowledge of African safari wildlife taxidermy. The artists at Hilde Wildlife Studios make it possible for the sportsman to share the beauty of God's creations and the delicate balance of nature through the preservation of the trophies they've so earnestly obtained.
